Reduced Rates/Scholarships
We believe that mental health care should be accessible to everyone. To support this, we offer reduced rates based on financial hardship and access.

Our reduced rates prioritize clients who are not covered by the Oregon Health Plan, cannot use a superbill, cannot afford the full cash payment, and/or belong to marginalized groups.

There are a limited number of reduced rate spots available and we ask that you only request one if you truly need a reduced fee. We trust our community to uphold the principles of community care, considering both the needs of others and our own capacity to be generous with our resources. Please contact us to discuss options.

Superbill
Payment is required at the time of service. For clients without OHP, but who have other commercial insurance, we can provide a superbill.

A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You pay the full cash fee, and we provide you with a receipt for your payments. You can then submit this receipt to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, according to your specific plan's rates.

Key points about superbills:
-
Check with your insurance provider to confirm if they accept superbills and to understand the reimbursement percentage.
-
Insurance companies do not reimburse for reduced rate fees. Full payment is required at the time of service, and a receipt will be provided for the previous month's payments.
-
You are responsible for submitting the receipt to your insurance provider and will be reimbursed based on your plan after submission. Sometimes, paying the full fee and receiving partial reimbursement can be more cost-effective than using a reduced rate fee if this option is available to you.
Due to the limited availability of reduced rate spots, if you can afford to pay for services upfront and be reimbursed later, using the superbill option would be greatly appreciated.
